Business Development Manager – Southwest
This commercial role within Redexim reports to the North America Sales Manager and is focused on driving growth across Southern California, Arizona, Las Vegas, and Southwest Utah. Based ideally in the Southern California market, in or around the greater Los Angeles metro area, the Business Development Manager will expand dealer relationships, develop new business opportunities, support end users, and strengthen Redexim’s presence in both natural and synthetic turf maintenance markets.

We design and build reliable turf maintenance equipment for professionals around the world, with a portfolio spanning seeding, topdressing, renovation, and synthetic turf maintenance. From our base in St. Louis, Missouri, Redexim North America supports distribution partners, golf courses, municipalities, sports facilities, and contractors across the region. The role
As Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and developing strategic business opportunities to drive growth across your territory. You will focus on expanding Redexim’s presence in both natural and synthetic turf maintenance, building strong relationships with existing customers, developing new markets, and strengthening the dealer network.
In this role, you will play an important part in increasing sales, improving market penetration, and ensuring end users have access to the right products, support, and service through a strong regional partner network.
What you will do
- Achieve or exceed annual sales targets within the assigned territory.
- Maintain and support existing Redexim dealer partners.
- Recruit and onboard new dealer partners in line with annual sales targets.
- Build strong relationships with target end users to generate demand for Redexim products.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, lead generation, and direct outreach.
- Conduct product demonstrations for key stakeholders, including golf course superintendents, sports field managers, grounds managers, and contractors.
- Work closely with dealers and partners to ensure strong market coverage and access to the right end-user segments.
- Develop relationships with local and regional associations, schools, universities, municipalities, parks departments, and other self-maintaining properties.
- Promote the Redexim brand to new customers and prospects who have not previously engaged with the company.
- Act as a key point of contact for territory-based associations and commercial activities.
- Monitor market developments and identify emerging trends and opportunities within the territory.
- Provide dealer training, sales support, and ongoing service support across the region.
- Prepare sales plans and reports for management.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing accounts.
- Support Redexim marketing initiatives and provide feedback on product performance, market needs, and competitor activity.
- Attend company meetings, industry events, trade shows, roadshows, open houses, and product demonstrations.
- Use CRM tools effectively to manage customer relationships and maintain accurate records.
- Manage travel and time efficiently while working within budget expectations.
- Take on additional duties as required.
What you will bring
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Territory Manager, Business Development Manager, or in a similar commercial role within a dealer environment.
- Experience with turf maintenance equipment or related industry products is preferred.
- Proven ability to achieve sales targets consistently.
- Strong business development and relationship-building skills.
- Effective negotiation skills and a customer-focused approach.
- Strong commercial awareness and the ability to work independently in a complex business environment.
- Residency within the assigned territory.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Experience using CRM systems effectively.
- Bachelor’s degree in business or a relevant field preferred. Equivalent experience will also be considered.
- Bilingual Spanish is preferred.

Work environment and travel
- This position requires frequent travel within the assigned territory, including overnight stays.
- Travel is expected to be approximately 70%.
- You must be capable of driving a company vehicle and pulling a company trailer when needed.
- You should be willing to learn how to operate tractors and equipment.
- The role includes working in a mix of office environments, customer locations, and trade show settings
