Job Description

We are looking for a self-motivated and results-driven general manager to direct and manage our organization’s business activities, to take care of our culture and keep it thriving, to develop and implement effective business strategies and programs.

Job Responsibilities
  • Reports and works together with the Executive Management in The Netherlands
  • Operations Manager, National Sales Manager and Financial Controller report to GM
  • Oversees and manages day-to-day operations
  • Design strategy and set goals for growth in close cooperation’s with the team
  • P&L responsible, set and maintain budgets, optimize expenses.
  • Set policies and processes, manage the yearly agenda and deliver accordingly
  • Ensure employees work productively and develop professionally
  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding and training of new employees
  • Evaluate and improve operations and financial performance
  • Manage the employee assessment process
  • Prepare regular reports for the Executive Management
  • Implement and ensure staff follows health and safety regulations
  • Provide solutions to issues such as profit decline, employee conflicts, loss of business to competitors
  • Taking care of production/execution of the marketing plan through our external marketing agency
  • Regular travel within the market territory visiting customers, visits to the head office
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business management, Business Administration or 5+ years of relative experience
  • Open, friendly, diplomatic, approachable person. Servant leadership
  • Excellent managerial and leadership skills
  • Extensive experience with marketing & sales of B2B products within an (preferably Tech) international distribution company
  • Ability to interpret financial data as needed to set budgets, forecasts, follow up on the P&L
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
