Job Description

The Operations Coordinator’s responsibilities include helping their organization run smoothly and ensuring that deadlines, plans for events or anything related get accomplished on time with no issues. This position will work in a support role and oversee many administrative tasks as needed.

Job Responsibilities
  • Assist with the management of daily operational activities
  • Perform administrative tasks, answering phones, scheduling meetings, etc.
  • Assisting with project management by creating assignments, tracking progress, and resolving issues
  • Identifies ways to increase revenue, decrease expenses and improve efficiency
  • Handles logistical responsibilities to include but not limited to supply chain management, customer service, client services, quality management
  • Review, prepare and routes purchase orders
  • Resolve shipping problems with warehouse – refusals, carrier problems, freight charge issues
  • Planning and organizing conferences, events, staff training, and employee engagement activities
  • Preparing and maintaining operations documents and reports
Basic Qualifications
  • High school diploma/GED required
  • Experience in office management or an administrative role
  • Prior experience using Sage, QuickBooks or similar accounting / ERP software a plus
  • Proficient in technology and general office equipment
  • Excellent communication and people management skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize
  • Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills
Additional Information
  • Must be able to traverse distribution warehouse and access a variety of storage spaces and shelving units by stretching, squatting, and reaching.
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at a time.
  • Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions and temperatures in the warehouse and on the loading dock.
