A hydraulic leaf blower for light vehicles. The Verti-Air® 400C is extremely powerful yet beautifully quiet. It is hydraulically driven, designed for light utility vehicles, empowering amazing performance year after year, providing a hydraulic leaf blower that gets work done.

The 400C is not for tractors. We offer a full range of tractor compatible, PTO driven leaf blowers, large and small. Like the 400C, the Verti-Air® 400B is a front-mounting unit for light tractors, while the Verti-Air® 400A is rear-mounting.

How do I know if my machine is compatible?

Many vehicles and machines are compatible with the Verti-Air® 400C hydraulic leaf blower. All they need is a male/female hydraulic connection, enough oil pressure, and the capacity to lift the lightweight 400C. We do not provide a comprehensive list at this time because there are so many machines that can connect, or can be modified to connect with the 400C.

The Connections

M26 threads, one male, one female, and one leak for excess flow. These connections are standard on many machines.

Oil pressure and flow

It requires 170 bar (about 2,465 psi flow) that can supply 10. 5 litres per minute and no more than 65 litres per minute.

Lifting capacity

Your machine must be able to lift/mount the 400C.

NOT for tractors

Why is Verti-Air® 400C hydraulic leaf blower not for tractors? It has to do with the hydraulic system design in tractors, which generally offer two-way hydraulic connectors, allowing for hydraulic fluids to move both in and out. The Verti-Air® 400 A, B and C drive turbines and cannot sustain pressure and forces acting on the turbine in ways it’s not meant for. This means that the two-way hydraulic connections of the tractors can drive the 400C in ways that will break the machine.

If you are looking for similar low noise, light blowers that are similar to the 400C, check out the front PTO mounted Verti-Air® 400A and the rear mounted Verti-Air® 400B, both of which are designed for tractors. We offer a wide range of tractor blowers that do not work the same way as our hydraulic leaf blower, the 400C.
