The Verti-Air® 400A is a rear-mounted version of the 400B. While the Verti-Air® 400C is hydraulically driven, meant to be compatible with light utility vehicles and other machines instead of tractors.

How a Front Mount Leaf Blower Works
You cannot take a Verti-Air® 400A, the rear-mounted Verti-Air® 400, and attach it to the front of your tractor. The reason has to do with the direction and speed of force being produced by the turbine in the Verti-Air® 400 model. The 400A and 400B spin their turbines’ in opposite directions at different RPMs. The 400A spins counter-clockwise with a 540 RPM maximum. The 400B spins clockwise at a 1000 RPM maximum. This means it spins in the correct direction needed for a front mount leaf blower, allowing the Verti-Air® 400B to distribute forces properly, maintaining the integrity of the machine so it doesn’t break.
