Ryan Jerome Appointed Specialty Products Development Manager at Redexim North America
Redexim creates a new role to serve sod farms and equestrian facilities
Sod farms and equestrian facilities have never had a dedicated point of contact at Redexim in North America. That changes now: Ryan Jerome joined Redexim North America in August as Specialty Products Development Manager, with those segments as his starting point.
“For sod producers it comes down to building healthy, consistent turf that harvests well and performs once it’s installed. On the equestrian side, it’s about the surface. It has to be stable and safe, whether horses are training or racing,” Ryan said.
Ryan’s focus will include the Turf-Stripper, seeders and Redexim’s largest aerators, machines built for the scale of work these operations need. He will also bring the Easy-Core and smaller machines to rental companies.
Ryan comes to the role after nearly 30 years in turf and grounds maintenance. He started on the equipment side with Toro, Jacobsen and Turfline. More recently he worked in sales and management with Brandt, WinField and Agrium, selling fertilizer and plant health products to dealers and end users across North America.
Jason Jones, Sales Manager for North America, said: “These markets need a different kind of focus than we’ve given them before. Someone who can actually be out there helping people find the right machine for the job, not just filling orders.”
