Regional Sales Manager – Lower Southern England

The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for driving growth and market expansion for Redexim’s natural and synthetic turf maintenance equipment across our Region 1 sales territory, covering Southern England. The successful candidate will ideally be based within easy reach of the M4 and M5 corridors.

This role involves managing Redexim’s existing Regional Partners within the territory, developing new business opportunities, strengthening relationships with end users, supporting product demonstrations and serving as the main Redexim sales contact for the region.

From our base in Surrey, Redexim UK supports distribution partners, golf courses, municipalities, sports facilities and contractors across the region. With dealer coverage across the whole of the UK, we combine local market knowledge with the strength of a global brand to support turf professionals across a large and diverse market.

Key Job responsibilities

  • Achieve territory sales, revenue and gross margin targets.
  • Maintain and grow existing partnerships while creating demand for Redexim products among end users and supporting Partner growth.
  • Generate new business through CRM lead management, prospecting, networking and product demonstrations.
  • Build relationships with golf courses, sports field managers, contractors, municipalities, schools, universities and other turf maintenance customers.
  • Collaborate with customers to increase sales through training, product range reviews, demonstrations, annual reviews and ongoing support.
  • Develop and execute territory sales plans and provide regular reports to management.
  • Support marketing initiatives by attending trade shows, industry events, customer demonstrations and association activities.
  • Serve as the primary contact for customer enquiries, quotations and sales-related activities within the territory.
  • Conduct market research and provide competitor and customer feedback to support business strategy.
  • Use CRM and business systems to manage customer relationships and sales activities.
  • Manage travel, expenses and territory operations efficiently while maintaining a high standard of customer service and professionalism.

Sales Target Achievement

  • Achieve or exceed annual sales targets.
  • Maintain and Service current Redexim retail partners.
  • Recruit and onboard new Redexim partners in alignment with annual sales targets.
  • Drive growth by building relationships with target end-users for Redexim products. 

Business Development

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, CRM lead management and other lead-generation activities.
  • Generate end-user demand by conducting product demonstrations for key stakeholders, including golf course managers, sports turf and grounds managers, and contractors.
  • Work closely with Partners in the territory that provide access to identified end users of Redexim products, including field sales managers, branch managers and other relevant contacts.
  • Support Partners through events, training and joint customer engagement activities.
  • Develop relationships with local turf maintenance associations, schools, universities, local authorities, parks departments and other organisations that maintain their own grounds.
  • Identify and approach potential customers in sectors such as golf, football and other field sports that have not previously engaged with Redexim, and promote the Redexim brand and product range.
  • Act as the main point of contact for relevant regional associations and engagement activities.
  • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and opportunities within the assigned territory.

Channel and Marketing Support:

  • Support Redexim’s brand and marketing initiatives.
  • Attend national and regional company meetings as required.
  • Participate actively in industry events and trade shows to promote Redexim products.
  • Provide valuable channel feedback to Redexim regarding product performance, market response to marketing initiatives and competitor activity.
  • Plan and deliver customer engagement events, including roadshows, open days, product demonstrations and specialist product presentations.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of five years’ experience in territory sales, preferably within the turf equipment industry.
  • A proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing new business.
  • Strong communication, presentation, relationship-building, negotiation and organisational skills.
  • The ability to travel extensively, approximately 70% of the time, and to operate company vehicles, trailers and equipment.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
  • The ability to work effectively across a range of environments, including offices, customer sites, professional venues and trade shows.
